Matt and Katelyn truly did everything they possibly could to ensure we got the house of our dreams. Working through the j link program and purchasing a spec home was a whirlwind but so worth it. Mike did an amazing job helping us sell our home and Frazier was amazing at explaining and walking us through our new home. I will recommend my experience with Jayman to whoever is looking to buy a new home!

Clare and Christianne were nothing short of perfection. From the first time I walked into the show home to my possession date, they responded to every single question within minutes. If every home sales team was able to replicate what those two ladies have accomplished, Jayman would be #1 across the board.

This is our second build with Jayman. Although we have had several issues with our house the personal touch from the Jayman team and genuine concern have made the difference. We have been very patient and we see that it is appreciated. We are sympathetic/share the frustration of the poor customer service and quality of the subtrades.

We had a great experience with Jayman, overall. When there was a transition of site supervisors and Jordan going on maternity leave there was clear communication and introduction to Dave via emails. There was no communication that Steven was leaving and that there was an entire new sales team - it was only noticed when there was a different person sending our weekly updates. As people who chose to build our first home with Jayman we became friendly with Jordan and Steven and it felt weird to have them leave mid process especially with no communication on who the new team was. We feel that hand off was done poorly and wished there was more insight into that change. The service we experienced from Jordan, Steven, Dave, Hali (StyleMagic) and Avleen (Jayman Financial) was incredible. They really care for those who build with Jayman and take the time to explain things clearly and well. They made this process amazing for us. We’re thankful we got to experience building our first home with them. For our 2 month appointment, I feel in the dark as to what is going to be getting done vs what is not. I hope there is more communication on this prior to the appointment.

The over all construction, communication and with the house I am extremely satisfied. But as mentioned in my previous feedback the sales would have been better, so the customer can choose what all options he need and also to accommodate customer needs if not reject with a proper reason.

The ONLY thing I would say, is there are times when emergencies happen, and they'll tell you to wait for the 2-month appointment, but in cases of emergencies or issues that are critical, there should be some understanding. For example, the lock on the front door was broken and they told me to wait until the 2 month, but of course you can't keep your door unlocked for months. I finally took care of that myself because I couldn't wait.

Some repairs were supposed to have been done and photos taken to prove it was fixed. But afterwards, we were then told that we just had to trust that they did it, And that there were no photos of proof of the repair. We spent over 800k on a house and hearing “don’t worry, I’ll fix it” with no proof of repair is not assuring at all. So at the moment, trust is not at the forefront unfortunately.

I feel the cost of the house was pricy and there is so much noise in the basement while using the bathrooms in the main house. It feels like water gushing out on your head. This is not same experience in my neighbors house

The upstairs carpet was not correct installed looks like they run out of it and just stick a piece at the end, we did not notice it as we didn’t expect something like that to be normal for Jayman

There was an issue about the sliding door on the master en-suite not fitting due shower being too big and the figures on the plan not being correct during drafting.I was only made aware of the issue during the mechanical walkthrough and was not given enough heads up to think about the issue before giving an answer to what I’d like to happen.In the end, the sliding door was added properly though. But I’d prefer that if there were any issues that I’d be informed of it before a walkthrough, not during it where I have to make a decision on the spot.

We had a Jayman home back in Edmonton and this is our second Jayman home , this time in Mahogany, Calgary. Our experience in Edmonton was really good. This time we faced couple of bumps on the way mainly with Jayman Realty (would never recommend that to anyone!) and then some with Furnace and laundry issues. Other than that our experience has been good. We were given proper communication and updates by Lawrence, Jordan and Fraser. They were all very helpful!

The overall experience is good. But I would remind my friends and family members that the site manager can become extremely angry when the client is late for the appointment. (It would be the client’s fault - no questions about that, but the mistake can turn a positive experience with Jayman into a negative one for an emotionally sensitive person). For those who can be 100% sure that they are on time with their appointments, it would be a 10/10 experience!Meanwhile, I would like to thank Shane for the mechanical walkthrough, and thank the site manager, Sheldon, for taking care of the basement post as well as the four posts on the front veranda.

Was about to give 5 for the miscommunications and resheduling of the appointments but good thing mostly of all the problem was taking good care on the first visit. Still things Jayman can improve is scheduling. Had to burn two of my holidays and ended up not getting used.
