My baseboard is made of a material similar to cork board, and it is easily damaged.

The one that does need to get some extra recognition is Tristan Brooks. He is one of the 1st that I met and he absolutely represents your company very well. Very polite and respectful. Always does what he says he is going to do and goes above and beyond. Moving is always stressful and it’s nice that there is someone that is there to answer some of those questions for you. I also had some furnace issues and James from the emergency department ( can’t remember his last name was just as equally as helpful.

My experience from Day 1 when I walked into Jayman office/ show suite till handing over was awsome.

It is a very professional team. Buying a house is a very important matter and with the Jayman Sales Team you feel comfortable doing it.

I had a poor experience before. Sandra and Michael took over my house and offered me excellent support. I appreciate their efforts in helping me.

We did our walkthrough Oct 23rd and Key handover Nov 5th. Kids washroom bathtub drain was filled with woodchips, Hoodfan was known not to be working at the walkthrough and wasn't fixed until week of Nov 18th, Cooktop is covered in paint splatters, countertops need to be cleaned/buffed as this wasn't done and we could feel the dust/grit still. Within the first few days issue with the venting where Stronghold had to come out to properly seal the dampener (they were great at sending someone out ASAP). Pressure washing happened on Nov 8th however once they were done tons of water has seeped through the front door which we had to clean when arrived. I feel that there was ample time provided between the walkthrough and key turnover to ensure the place was adequately cleaned.

The design process is not sufficient to properly allow for new home owners to fully comprehend and imagine all the items that need to be considered during a build. The 8 hour day is too much, there are not enough visual tools, there is very little thoughtful design advice and the show room is outdated. Items like additional outlets for a his and her vanity plus a make up counter, lack of adjustable shelving in cupboards (especially ones that were upgraded) a coffee bar with no outlets accessible through counter... etc make moving in to your dream home frustrating. But there is no way someone going through this process for the first time would be able to account for these items without some sort of thoughtful guidance. There are still outstanding items that need to be corrected like a large hole under deck, lumber tacked to roof, nails protruding through carpet and upgraded underpaid, wiser lock that does not slide into door jam properly.... etc etc ..We are really happy with our new house and new community. Sandra made the entire journey as good as it could be. She is probably the most effective and communicative person we encountered within the Jayman team. She was able to save the day on so many occasions. Hoever, the process could be improved in such a way that saving the day would not need to happen so often.Feel free to call me with any questions or further dsicussions.

Recommending Jayman to friends and family is a no brainer. Considering that Jayman is a highly reputable builder but that the sales team along with the mortgage broker aspect is top notch. We never felt pressured but provided with all the information needed to make an informed decision.

So far I feel that the service has been excellent and I think the product is good.

The weekly updates have been very helpful.

The one issue I have is that Jayman Built does not put drip edge on their roofs. I have spoken to roofers about this (with my current home) and they have expressed the importance of this part of the roof as well have stated that it is not a very expensive material. I have also been told it is building code to include so it is frustrating that this isn't included as it can mean eventual roof damage. In addition, it would have been nice to have options to upgrade the roof material to more hail resistant products. Would be a great addition to offer in the future.
