We received exceptional service from the team - Chris , Leona, Srdj and Shane. THE WELL DONE PART: 1. exceptional possession day - so thoughtful , the house was beautiful and clean, provided with like the must have when u get to a house , eg , toilet paper , thorough explanation - amazing work !! 2. I had issue with my undercabinet lighting being small and not what I paid for - was very unhappy during pre ocup walk and Sardj went above and beyond and fixed it . 3. Chris was amazing through out the journey - very personable , amazing customer service , thorough , he never hesitated to take time to explain things till he understood we were happy and contented. 4. Days when he stayed so late to get us t what we wanted or liked . 5. Leona - the number of times she helped go tot he house to see few questions we had in mind . 6. Sardj - a very honest and hard working person , he made sure we understood everything and explained things so well with patience and made sure to go the extra mile to get things done the way we want. He did everything possible in his power to get it right, if it was under his control . My only additional comment was about the number of things we had to point out to to get rectified during the pre ocup walk and later after possession thing we have to now reach out for rectification. Probably its because , when we knew we are buying the house from the Jayaman, we had a predefined thought that there is going to be zero after work or lets say " Jayman = perfection" and gets things right the first time and we wouldn't have to ever discover issues or fixes after the possession. I think its probably an "us" thing and this being our first home, I am not sure if this is normal . Not that the issues pointed put weren't acknowledged or tried to be rectified, they absolutely are looked into, and necessary actions are being taken , but one would not want to deal with so many tiny stuffs after moving into their brand new house. Few examples would be- 1. we had a jammed lock on the front door, and was advised, it should be a jayman portal ticket, but shane swang by our house for cleaning the area around the house from the scraps/ waste from construction and I asked him and he immediately fixed it , which helped us tons , as we could use the front door opposing to having to wait till the ticket might have been resolved. And in all honesty, I could not even raise a ticket , because of the busyness that comes with moving and cleaning up the old space and work and children etc. 2. We have few door handles that are stiff 3. we have a little leak on the standing shower glass - which I am yet to take that extra step to upload via the jayman portal (So many other things take precedence- like getting water meter done , blinds, water softener etc , so dint really have time to upload these tiny annoying fixes. )4. We had concrete poured and that very same evening I saw cracks or rips and mentioned to Sardj and he immediately reached out to the contractor , they came viewed it and did nothing about it , but sure will be taken care of later - but my point is it should have been done perfectly at the first shot , but QC it after the work is done . 5. Our front door is sun dried tomatoes shade and the paint has bled into the side of the door where it is white - so felt there was no professional finish 6. Front door Rails - have 2 hanging parts on it - not sure what it is . 7.I am not sure if all this will be taken care of when the exterior painting and purging is done , but feels like a shabby work done at least for now .8.The surrounding of the house was not cleaned and thus had big nails and metal scraps etc and definitely was fixed after reaching out or following up with the team , I would think the trades should be taking things like this serious and clear them. Most or all of these were DEFINITELY ADDRESED AND FIXED BY THE TEAMS , but when you buy a new dress let alone house , you want all the threads in it to be intact no , rips or stains , all buttons and sleeve functioning well, Can you rectify these if there was issues or manufacturing defect- absolutely yes , but we go to premium brands invest money to get them right at the first shot with perfection. We also felt there might have been so much push to deliver the house on the day we were told as possession,(FYI - we were okay if it delayed) which might have resulted in speedy work and less time for QC.( Quality checks & thorough testing) So feed back / suggestions / take aways here are as follows :1. Investing more time in QC (Quality checks / assessments & testing ) - each switch, plug, tap , outside door , door nobs, surrounding area cleared of garbage from the construction etc should be given more importance. Things that are physically seen in our eyes were aall good , but I would reccoment if Jayman Team can look into using all the system and checking if its all well. 2. Like how thorough style magic appointment is - one dedicated day to show how all the smart technology feature is used , not everyone is that tech savvy and smart technology without being used , is never smart.3. If things showed/ displayed in style magic is outdated or if that is not what currently is available because of various reasons like change in supplier , design color etc , kindly remove that immediately from style magic - we had an experience with the undercabinet lighting - we were charged 800$ just for that , part of me was like I can DIY later , but wanted the bests to do it in the best way and thus got it done, and all to see the length of the under cabinet light was like a coffee stirrer stick for a huge kitchen cabinets - but good part is I mentioned to Srdj and he went above and beyond and made sure it will be changed to the size that was showed to us in style magic.4. It is very important that the style magic people and the sales people know details/ tech / core and are on the same page - because together they represent your brand "Jayman". Our sales manger Chris was 100% sure that the led lights in the house can be temperature controlled and during our style magic session , I was keen to ask as I am not a fan of yellow lights because of migraines and our designer said its not possible to change the temperature and finally to see it could be changed. So cross training between departments will be a good thing to consider. 5. I must say the possession day - we were so well treated and the team - Chris , Srdj , Leona, shane they had been so thoughtful to every details and made it so personnel and warm , it felt soooooo nice !! amazing job !!!The team made sure we were happy and contented , with all the tiny tweaks they had to do which we picked before pre ocup walk - thats really nice to see that you are taken care of even after the possession. I must also say that - the moving van process was such a cake walk and the person- I forgot her name was so good at it . and this is such an amazing thing Jayman offers !!. Our interior designer sent us a cute card being so thoughtful adn that was soo nice. - was a good day spending time with her in style magic - Jody also was on the top of keeping us posted about the back order about one of our lights and kept updating us . On the whole , THANK YOU ALL . we had a good experience , the above listed is constructive criticism for the better. We truly wish Jayam takes the
